To Whom It May Concern, The service and personal attention we received from Tom Hickey was exceptional and unexpected from a realtor!He is a truly a high-caliber realtor.His knowledge and advice of the local market and key contacts helped me as I was closing on my house.After patiently going through listings and explaining all those miscellaneous things many home buyers never think about, he make sure I got what I wanted.When I started searching for a house I was expecting to get 2-3 things of 10 I wanted in a home but Tom found one with all the things I want at a good deal.

I'm just gonna say it....Tom Hickey is one of the best real estate agents on the planet. Yeah, I know that's an outrageous claim but he's that good. I've worked with a few and Tom is the most patient, friendly, selfless person I've ever worked with. Imagine a realtor from a small town/country who is friendly, attentive, and thorough. He has gone above and beyond to help me prepare for the sale of my home. Tom has an amazing work ethic and other wonderful qualities which make him an excellent realtor. I am a week from closing escrow on my home (in Mt Washington, LA) and just had to write a review about this amazing agent. He didn't ask me to review him and would never ask such a thing. Great experience deserves a genuine review. So here's the story:

3 years ago I purchased a home and the sellers agent was Tom Hickey. I had a great experience working with him on the other end. Fast forward to 2015, the market is high and I was looking to sell my home. I asked Tom to be my realtor given the fact that he had sold my property 3 other times in the past 10 years (wow, right?). From the get-go Tom has been on top of everything. He isn't pushy or intimidated by other agents. He gives it to you straight. He's been in his field for a very long time. He goes beyond his job duties. For example, he planted flowers in my yard and continues to water them with each of his visits. He brought over 9V batteries to replace all of my smoke/carbon alarms so they would pass inspection. He spends extra time explaining in layman's terms exactly what's going on during the whole process. I have never felt confused by his explanations. I've never felt as if he's blowing me off. He tells his clients everything every step of the way. He immediately answers my phone calls almost always and answers my questions with great detail. I have never felt as if he was annoyed or pressed on time when speaking with him about the house. He has been amazing. I 100% recommend him if you are selling your house in the LA area. He lives on the West-side and I live on the East-side. He is very flexible with location.
